On October 7th, 2023, Hamas gunmen launched an unprecedented invasion and assault on Israel and its people. The sad result was that they reportedly killed 1,200 people and took 240 others as hostages. To date over 100+ are sadly still in Hamas captivity. There can be little question about the core aim of Hamas. It is well known. They hope to destroy the state of Israel by any method they deem possible. Their actions on October 7th were just one more visible, unfortunate murderous and kidnapping act that followed other previous acts that were also violence and rocket launch related.
The Israeli government on behalf of its people, understandably reacted. Care of the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF), they bombed the hell out of Norther Gaza in supposed aim to wipe out Hamas. For a while it appeared that the IDF was seeking to dish out a form of retaliatory justice for the deaths of many people in Israel during the recent invasion. For a time, understandably, the state of Israel had wide support as its government reacted to a terrible act of Hamas violence. However, after ignoring the warning of many, including multiple warning coming from American advisors and direct from the White House, Israel proceeded to go beyond anything that could be called “Justice” and quickly ventured into acts of outright barbarism, over-reaction, common collective punishment upon a whole Gaza population and proceeded to kill ten times far more than actually died when Hamas did their own nasty action!
.
Within weeks of the retaliatory mass butchery that Israel dished out – and continues to dish out – immediate and loud cry from around the world said the equivalent of “Hang on, you are going too far!“. The Israeli government has claimed that they are entitled to “Self-defence” and to a good degree, they are right. However, by mass opinion around the world, their act of “Self-defence” has now gone too far – to the point of committing international seen genocide on a population of millions within Gaza region.
The actions of the IDF have been long questioned. Their own actions have been accused of being cruel to the point of serving an unofficial Israeli government agenda – and that agenda is said to be the complete expulsion of the remaining Palestinian people still alive. With every day that passes, the reality that this agenda existing, is harder to deny. Hundreds of acts by the IDF, by armed Israeli gangs allowed get away with their own brutality acts on others and actual homes or land stolen off Palestine people, are on long historic records. That list of terrible property stealing, allowed by consecutive Israel governments, continues to grow with every week, months and year.

Israel stands long accused of committed racist, apartheid creating acts from divide wall building that separates people, to treating some people far differently to others. A simple internet text and video search exposes decades of documented acts going back as far as the early 1950’s. The expansion of land that Israel has invaded and stolen off Palestine people is also well documented and graphed in visual form over decades too.
As things stand to date, Israel continues to face criticism for its occupation of the West Bank and East Jerusalem, which are considered violations of international law. The establishment of Israeli settlements in the occupied territories has been condemned by various international actors as a violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention. The blockade of the Gaza Strip by Israel has been criticized, it all amounting to collective punishment and continues to violate long established international law.
Invasion.
When the Israel government via its IDF military, retaliatory acted towards Gaza after October 7th, for a long period of time, they carpet bombed entire areas rather than do more specific targeting. Stating initially that they were going to “wipe out Hamas”, very few beyond Israel believed this is fully possible for a number of reasons. Hamas has bases beyond the state of Israel and recruits from other states too. Many of its rank also deliberately live beyond Israel border. This doesn’t stop Israel from doing Mossad assassination attacks in other countries, but it does make it far harder for the Israel government entirely wipe out Hamas. Of course, the Israel government is not going to open admit they won’t or cannot really wipe all of Hamas out. That would be seen to some extent, as not good PR for some political parties wanting to be re-elected, an admission of possible present and future failure, to their own Israeli people, and would also be too humiliating for them to admit. The rest of the world however, is not stupid. Most states know that it will be near impossible to wipe out Hamas.
.
After bombing the hell out of Northern Gaza, the Israeli government then advised Gaza people to move towards Southern Gaza, where they stated the Gaza people would be far more safe. This has subsequently turned out to be a lie. As soon as many people went South, the IDF then followed them and bombed the hell out of the Southern areas too. This bombing continues to date. So far, the IDF has destroyed vast amouts of public buildings including mah hospitals, school, colleges, universities, blocks of entire appartments, homes and much more. They have carpet bombed enite regions within Gaza. They have destroyed monuments and even many graveayrds for some bizzare reason.

Other people claim that their actions are just more obvious stages and signs of Israel’s own attempt to ethnic clense the entire gaza region so that they can continue to expell it’s still alive occupants – so the land they starve and struggle to remain living on, could be even more stolen off them! As IDF too wide ranging killing and destruction actions continue, it gets harder and harded by the day to dispute this outlook held by an ever increasing number of world people.
The friction currently continues between Palistinian people and the rulers of Israel. This friction extends from the late 1940’s, early 1950’s to the present day. Unless there is a real negotiated solution, overseen in creation and then impliments and watched by independent others, the decades long troublesome friction will continue. In the long run, people of professional nature and deep political understanding know that resolution will only come by adults sitting around tables, willing to discuss peace and meet a middle ground. Compromise is going to have to be reached by both sides – with gritted teeth if necessary. Untill then, the continuing deaths that are lost on both sides of the current friction, is ultimately giving younger generations more reason to again act with further revenge as more die.
The current reported death numbers as of early January, 2024 are 27,000 killed in Gaza – and of them, 10,000+ are reported children who have been killed by the IDF. Over 50,000 have been additionally injured and maimed.
